Masala Tea

問我尼泊爾印象最深是什麼...

不加思索跟你說...Masala Tea...

為什麼為什麼...

怎麼答案不是聖母峰or加德滿都...

理由這種東西...本來就是對沒有形狀的東西勉強加上暫時性的框架...



好吧算我膚淺...

回來二個月後深深懷念的居然是那一杯最通俗的奶茶...

也許是被那裡面肉桂,薑母和許多不知名香料所勾引....

或者是下飛機第一口到高山民宿溫暖的每一杯以及下山後不論三餐必點...



走火入魔到自己去路邊小店買牛奶找茶葉想自己泡....

但廚藝自認不差的我...總是感覺缺少了某一味...

或許就是那種根深蒂固落實的生活氣味...

那裡的人就是那樣喝著那個東西過著那樣的生活吧....



網路上找的masala tea神奇配方...

現在再來try一下好了...

Ingrediences



* 1/2 c Cream 4 g

* 1 1/2 litre Water

* 1 Cinnamon stick

* 6 Cardamom pods

* 4 cloves

* 12 black peppercorns

* sweetener to substitute 6 tb Sugar

* 6 ts Tea or 9 Teabags Orange Pekoe



Preparing



Combine water and milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil.

Add spices and sweetener. Stir a few times but do not boil!

Wait about 10 minutes. Add Tea or Teabags and bring to a boil.

Put a lid on the pan and boil on medium heat for 5 minutes.

Strain trough a cheesecloth in a tea-pot and serve immediatly.
